Lin Chiling and ‘Toilet Bowl Prince’ a couple?

TAIPEI: Taiwan model-actress Lin Chiling appeared as a spokesperson for Chinese bathroom fixture company HCG, run by rumoured boyfriend, ‘Toilet Bowl Prince’ Qiu Shi Kai, during a press event in Shanghai on Saturday, reported Chinese media.

Lin’s appearance at the event revived rumours that she was seeing Qiu, the son of a wealthy businessman.

When asked about this matter, Qiu, who was nicknamed the ‘Toilet Bowl Prince’ due to his wealthy background and involvement in the bathroom fixture business, told reporters: “What do you think?”

His cryptic reply only served to pique the public’s curiosity about the couple’s relationship, sparking renewed speculation that Qiu might well be Lin’s secret beau.

When asked about Lin and Qiu’s rumoured romantic relationship, Lin’s other rumoured suitor, former F4 member Jerry Yan, gave them his blessing.

“It’s great! She is a great girl and Qiu has a very good background. If she meets someone good, I will be happy for her,” he said.

A tale of two suitors

Both Qiu and Yan showed a lot of concern towards Lin when she got injured in a horse-riding accident back in 2005.

Qiu sent her flowers and a romantic SMS, while Yan quietly turned up to visit her at the hospital, sparking rumours of a Yan-Lin-Qiu love triangle.

If this love triangle did exist, it appears that Qiu has managed to vanquish his rival.

Yan had recently conceded that he was “not good enough for Lin”.

Qiu on the other hand, had allegedly won the approval of Lin’s mother while his own family supports a Qiu-Lin marriage.
